Lillie Mae White born February 11, 1942 departed this life on Wednesday June 4, 2025 at the Greg & Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard, Kentucky being 83-years old. Lillie was born in Breathitt County, Kentucky the daughter of the late Orlando & Hanie Noble, other than her parents, Lillie Mae was also preceded in death by her husband, Fed White; brothers, Bronson Noble & G.W. Noble; step-daughter, Lisa Combs.
Lillie Mae was a life-long resident of Perry County and was a member of the Hindman Family Worship Center. Lillie Mae worked 42-years for the Perry County School System as Secretary at the Chavies Elementary School, where she had a deep passion for helping the students & teachers, always going above and beyond and loved keeping up with those kids as they grew into adulthood, she wanted to leave a positive impact on anyone she met. Lillie Mae enjoyed reading, singing, her family and her Lord & Savior Jesus Christ.
Lillie Mae White leaves the following relatives to cherish her memory: daughter, Tammie Baker & Bert of Hazard; step-daughters, Brenda White-Brown & Bob of Somerset and Debra Hamblin & Amos of Hazard; grandchildren, Olivia Caudill & Dylan of Leburn, Miranda Neace & Dillon of Georgetown, Jeanie Swiney & Shawn of West Liberty, and Kage Baker & Haley of Maryland; brother, Orlando Noble, Jr. & Pearl of Jackson; special friends, Brenda, Linda, Theresa, Vickie, and Debbie; special friend, Larry Holland; 5-great grandchildren and 2 on the way; also a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives & friends survive.
Visitation for Lillie Mae White will be held on Saturday – June 7, 2025 at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home from 11:00 A.M.- 2:00 P.M. Funeral Services will be conducted on Saturday at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor Lyndon Barger & Pastor Mike Smith officiating. Interment will follow at the Noble Cemetery at Fifteen Mile. The Following will serve as pallbearers: Dylan Caudill, Dillon Neace, Jeremy Turner, Landon Turner, Mike Baker, and Bob Brown.
