Linda C. Adams Combs born December 1, 1948 departed this life on Wednesday – September 23, 2026 at the Hazard ARH Medical Center in Hazard, Kentucky being 77-years old. Linda was born in Jackhorn, Kentucky in Letcher County the daughter of the late Alfred V. Adams and the late Sarah Tolliver Adams. Other than her parents, Linda was also preceded in death by her sister, Mary Lou Marcum and brother, Don Adams.

Linda worked as a Bookkeeper for LKLP for several years before her health declined. She enjoyed arts, crafts and crocheting. Linda was a member of the Vicco Worship Center, and former member of the Jeff Missionary Baptist Church, where she served as the pianist.

Linda C. Adams Combs leaves the following relatives to cherish her memory: husband of 57-years, Harold Combs of Jeff, KY; son, Andy Combs & Melanie of North Redington Beach, FL; grandson, Maddox Combs of North Redington Beach, FL; sister, Flo Galloway & Teddy of Lee County, VA; special friend, Frances Hurt; also a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives & friends survive.

The family would like to extend a special Thank You to the Hazard Nursing Home, Hazard ARH, and Dr. Michael Raichel & staff for their genuine care they displayed for Linda.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday – September 24, 2026 at 7:00 P.M. at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home with Ronald Davidson and Randy Johnson officiating. The Visitation will be at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home on Thursday from 5:00 – 7:00 P.M. The Interment will follow later in the Combs Family Cemetery located at Jeff, Kentucky. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Vicco Worship Center at 112 Main Street – Vicco, Kentucky 41773.
