Linda Faye Spencer born January 21, 1959 departed this life on Saturday June 17, 2023 at the U.K. Good Samaritan Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky being 64-years old.  Linda was born in Hazard, Kentucky the daughter of the late Luther Spencer and the late Laura Combs Spencer.  Other than her parents, Linda was also preceded in death by her Brother, Eddie Kirkland and Nephew, James Spencer, Jr.  Linda worked at the Hazard A.R.H. for many years, she loved her grandchildren, spending time with them and taking them on walks.  Linda also enjoyed gardening and yard saling.

Linda Faye Spencer leaves the following relatives to cherish her memory: Children, Jessica Lynn Johnson & Mackie of Jackson, KY and Joseph Aaron Thomas of Bonnyman, KY; Brothers, James Lou Spencer & Charlene of Bonnyman, Danny Kay Spencer of Big Creek, Teddy Joe Spencer & Burna of Grapevine, Clayton Vaughn of Bonnyman and David Vaughn & Faye of Winchester, KY; Sisters, Jackie Kirkland of Bonnyman, Tonya Vaughn of Bonnyman, and Brenda Vaughn & Larry of Winchester, KY; Grandchildren, Zachary Luther Thomas & Anna, Aaron Joe Thomas, Mason Rebel Johnson, and Jaxton Diesel Johnson; Great-Grandchildren, Joshua Carter Thomas, Ruger Myles Thomas, Aubrey Nicole Griffith, Blake Griffith, Shane Griffith, and Cole Griffith; also a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends survive.

Funeral Services for Linda Faye Spencer will be conducted on Thursday June 22, 2023 at 1:00 P.M. at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home with Travis France and Merill David Collins officiating.  The Interment will follow in the Combs Cemetery located at Lower Second Creek.  The Visitation will be at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home on Wednesday from 6:00 – 9:00 P.M.
