Logan "Skeeter" Deaton III born April 14,1953 departed this life on Tuesday May 24,2022 at his residence in Buckhorn, Kentucky being 69-years old. Logan was born at Hazard, Kentucky the son of the late Logan Deaton II and the late Hallie McIntosh Deaton. Other than his parents, Logan was also preceded in death by his Wife, Rita Leake Deaton. Logan was a United States Army Veteran, Retired Park Ranger from the Buckhorn Lake State Resort Park as well as a Former Special Deputy with the Perry County Sheriff's Department.

Funeral Services for Logan "Skeeter" Deaton III will be conducted on Saturday May 28,2022 at 1:00 P.M. at the Buckhorn Log Cathedral with Tom & Gail Burns officiating. The Interment will follow in the Deaton Cemetery located at Buckhorn, Kentucky. The Visitation will be at the Buckhorn Log Cathedral on Saturday from 11:00 A.M. till 1:00 P.M. Military Rites will be performed by the Hazard Perry County D.A.V. Chapter #64.
