Luther Jones born January 13, 1958 departed this life on Sunday December 1, 2024 at the Hazard A.R.H. being 66 years old. Luther was born in Hazard, Kentucky the son of the late Clifton Jones and the late Alpha Jones. Other than his parents, Luther was also preceded in death by his son, Michael Combs Jones; brother, Marvin Jones; sisters, Gaynell Fields, Costine Wilkerson and Eva Wilkerson.

Luther Jones leaves the following relatives to cherish his memory: wife of 47 years, Carla Jones of Hazard; step-son, Kadin Burkhead of Hazard; daughter, Heather Jones of Hazard; brothers, Larry Jones of GA, David Jones of GA.

Visitation for Luther Jones will be conducted on Sunday December 8, 2024 at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home from 3:00 till 4:00 P.M. A Memorial Service will follow at 4:00 P.M. at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home with Chad Campbell officiating.
