Manuel Ray Davis born January 28, 1941 departed this life on Wednesday October 4, 2023 at the Eastern Kentucky Veterans Center being 82-years old. Manuel was born in Hazard, Kentucky the son of the late Willie Davis and the late Fannie Holland Davis. Other than his Parents, Manuel was also preceded in death by Four Brothers, Henry Davis, Billy "Dunk" Davis, Will Ray Davis, and Jesse Davis. Manuel was an avid U.K. Basketball fan, United States Army Veteran, and loved being outdoors.

Manuel Ray Davis leaves the following relatives to cherish his memory: Significant Other, Doris Davis of Hazard; Daughters, Alise Helton of Chattanooga, TN, Liz Travis & Paul of Hazard, Julie Cruze & Alfred of San Antonio, TX, Rosie Marie Combs & Travis of Hazard; Sister, Barb Oliver & Carson of Yerkes. Eleven Grandchildren, Seven Great-Grandchildren. A host of other relatives and friends survive.

Funeral Services for Manuel Ray Davis will be conducted on Friday October 6, 2023 at 1:00 P.M. at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home with Bobby Rickey King officiating. The Interment will follow in the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Southeast in Hyden, Kentucky. The Visitation will be at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home on Friday from 11:00 A.M. till 1:00 P.M. Military Rites will be performed by the Hazard Perry County D.A.V. Chapter #64.
