Marshall Reed born November 17, 1942, departed this life on Saturday – December 6, 2025, at his residence being 83-years old.  Marshall was born in Hazard, Kentucky the son of the late Austin Reed and the late Clara Baker Reed.  Other than his parents, Marshall was also preceded in death by his wife, Carlie Jo Reed; son, Marshall Lynn Reed; brothers, Edward Reed, Earnest Reed, Billy Dean Reed, and Gary Reed; sisters, Martha Napier & Betty Sexton.  Marshall enjoyed going to yard sales, but most of all he loved going to church and serving his Lord & Savior and fellowshipping with his brothers & sisters.  Marshall was a member of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Marshall Reed leaves the following relatives to cherish his memory: daughter, Sondra Day & Tracy of Hazard; brother, James Reed of Hazard; grandsons, Justin Day & Shania of Greeneville, TN and Robert Reed of Combs, KY; granddaughters, Cherri Noble & Amos of Combs, KY and Kayla Wooton of Lawrenceburg, KY; great-grandchildren, Amy Noble, Hailey Noble, Tyler Noble, Waylon Reed, Dagan Feltner, and Braxton Reed; special friends, Gary Bryant, James Boggs, and all the workers at the Dialysis Center; also a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives & friends survive.

Visitation for Marshall Reed will be held on Monday – December 8, 2025, at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home from 6:00 – 9:00 P.M.  Funeral Services will be conducted on Tuesday December 9, 2025, at 1:00 P.M. at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home with Ken Miller and Krouce Noble officiating.  The Interment will follow in the D&R Cemetery located at Hazard, Kentucky.
