Martha Jean Shaw born November 14, 1958 departed this life on Thursday January 2, 2025 at the Greg & Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard being 66 years old. Martha was born in Hazard, Kentucky the daughter of the late Billie C. Fields and the late Anna Lou Morris. Other than her parents, Martha was also preceded in death by her husband, Steve Shaw. Martha loved shopping and traveling.

Martha Jean Shaw leaves the following relatives to cherish her memory: son, Justin Wayne Shaw & Grace of VA; sisters, Vickie Johnson & George of Hazard, Tracey Cody & Mark of Happy; grandchildren, Jack Paul Shaw, Mila Shaw and Beau Shaw; nieces, Ashlie Sherman & Eddie, Jennifer Burcham & Will; nephew, Joshua Johnson & Whitney; special friend, "Buttermilk"; great-nieces & nephews, Edison, Bentley, Storie and Orion. A host of other relatives and friends survive.

Funeral Services for Martha Jean Shaw will be conducted on Saturday January 4, 2025 at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home at 7:00 P.M. with Leon Mullins officiating. Visitation will be at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home on Saturday from 5:00 till 7:00 P.M.
