Marty Goins born August 16, 1975, departed this life on Wednesday – September 10, 2025, at the Johnson City Medical Center in Johnson City, Tennessee being 50-years old.  Marty was born in Hazard, Kentucky, the son of Eddie Goins and Betty Goins.  Marty was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents; WG" Ty Cobb" Goins & Margaret Goins; maternal grandparents; Albert & Dora Lea Gamble; father-in-law & mother-in-law; Densmore & Irene Goodson. Marty was an accomplished drummer, he loved music, sports, and was an avid gun enthusiast. He had the best personality, always wanting to make people laugh.

Marty Goins leaves the following relatives to cherish his memory: wife, Marie Goins; daughters: Megan Martin & Anthony of Hazard and Macie Goins of  Sassafras; son: Matt Goins of Sassafras;  parents, Eddie & Betty Goins of Sassafras; brother, Mason Goins & Shannon of Richmond, Kentucky; sister, Mary Beth May & Gage of Campton; grandchildren; Preston, Kasen, Blake, and Cooper; special niece, Salem Jo; a host of many family & friends survive.

Visitation for Marty Goins will be held on Saturday - September 13, 2025, at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home in Hazard, Kentucky from 5:00 – 7:00 P.M.  A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 7:00 P.M. with Densmore Goodson officiating.
