Mary Ann Eversole

Aug 17, 1955 — Oct 28, 2026

Big Creek, Kentucky

Mary Ann Begley Eversole crossed Heaven’s threshold on October 28, 2026.

Mary Ann, as she preferred to be called, loved her family and friends unconditionally, and in return, she was deeply loved by them. Mary Ann was known for her steadfast faith and continued quoting the scripture, “By His stripes we are healed,” right up until the end.

Her memory was larger and deeper than the Pacific Ocean, making her nearly unbeatable in her love of games and Bible trivia. She was unmatched in her wit and humor, and her love for the latest gadgets and technology was unsurpassed.

Although Mary Ann no longer had her physical sight, it never hindered her love of pictures. As it turns out, Mary Ann could see what most of us could not. She had 20/20 vision of the heart.

She was our hero, the most positive person we have ever known. Her unwavering faith, boundless love, remarkable strength, and joyful spirit touched the lives of everyone who knew her. She will forever hold a special place in our hearts, and we will love and miss her every day.

Mary Ann was preceded in death by her father, Prentice Begley; and two half-sisters, Rita Bradford and Betty Ruth Lynch.

She is survived by her loving husband, David Eversole; her mother, Isabelle Roberts Begley; one son, Willie David Eversole (Marsha); one daughter, Amy Eversole; four brothers, Bobby Begley, John Begley (Vickie), Larry Begley (Suzette), and Willie Begley (Rhonda); two sisters, Darlene Begley Blair (Gordon) and Michelle Shreves; one grandchild, Chase Collett; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends who will forever cherish her memory.
