Mary Beth Merrill Adams born March 20, 1968 departed this life on Saturday January 25, 2025 at the Hazard A.R.H. being 56 years old. Mary was born in Hazard, Kentucky the daughter of the late Charles Mitchell Merrill, Jr. and the late Wanda Faye Wilson. Other than her parents, Mary was also preceded in death by her Sister, Rebecca Merrill Linder; Mother-In-Law, Connie Jean Harp Lane; Maternal Grandparents, Nettie Dean Wilson & Leonard Wilson; Paternal Grandparents, Charles Mitchell Merrill, Sr. & Mattie Saunders; Mary was a Graduate of Hazard High School and Georgetown College, Three time Worthy Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star Elizabeth Chapter 145, Member of the Kentucky Colonels, Honorary Reverend Doctor, Past President of Hazard Lions Club, Member of the S.C.A. & E.M.P; Member of the Battle of Leatherwood Committee; and Served 27 years in the Banking Industry with Inez and Peoples Bank.

Mary Beth Merrill Adams leaves the following relatives to cherish her memory: Husband of 26 years, Tim Harp of Hazard; Son, Brandon Adams of Hazard; Step-Son, Tim Harp, II & Crystal of Hazard; Sisters, Carol Ann Hanners & Brad of Richmond, KY; Sister-In-Law, Amelia Sue Lane of OH; Father-In-Law, Richard Allen Lane of OH; Special Friend, Debbie Campbell; Special Aunt, Dee; Nephews, Brian Hanners & Louise, Matthew Hanners & Emily; Niece, Rachel Hanners Hargreaves & Doug of Lexington, KY; Great-Nieces & Nephews, Landon hanners, Jackson Hanners, Owen Hanners, William Hanners, Katelyn Hanners and Hannah Hargreaves; Step-Granddaughter, Opal Harp of Hazard; Sisters of Elizabeth Chapter #145 as well as a host of other relatives and friends surviving.
