Matthew Ryan Adams born September 12, 1978, departed this life on Thursday – September 11, 2025, being 46-years old.  Matthew was born in Hyden, Kentucky the son of Priscilla Adams and the late Scott Adams.  Other than his father, Matthew was also preceded in death by his special friend, Garland Smith.

Matthew Ryan Adams leaves the following relatives to cherish his memory: fiancé, Stella DeAnna Smith of Lotts Creek; mother, Priscilla Adams of Hazard; sons, Brady Adams and Bryce Adams both of Hazard; brother, Brian Adams & Missy of Richmond, KY; nephew, Preston Adams; niece, Emilie Adams; special family, Linda Smith, Cordell Smith & Brooke, Mitch Smith & Cecile, Aspyn, Pyper, Ramsey, and Landry; also a host of aunts, uncles, and other relatives & friends survive.

Visitation for Matthew Ryan Adams will be held on Sunday – September 14, 2025, at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home from 1:00 – 3:00 P.M.  Funeral Services will be conducted on Sunday – September 14, 2025, at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home at 3:00 P.M. with Josh Feltner officiating.  The Interment will follow in the Smith Family Cemetery in Big Fork of Lotts Creek, Kentucky.
