Melvin Ray Gross born September 10, 1944 departed this life on Saturday May 14, 2022 at the Georgetown Community Hospital in Georgetown, Kentucky being 77-years old. Melvin was born at Hazard, Kentucky the son of the late John Gross and the late Bertha Couch Goodson. Other than his parents, Melvin was also preceded in death by his Wife, Shirley Gross; Son, Shane Gross; Brothers, William, Burley, and Raleigh Gross. Melvin loved the Bible, his Family, Fishing, Hunting, Nature, Bluegrass Music, and Playing his Guitar.

Melvin Ray Gross leaves the following relatives to cherish his memory: Children, Tammy Wright & Ray, Brenda Basham & George, Missy Noplis Trail & Tracy, Crystal Gross, and Todd Gross; Grandchildren, Raelynn, Shelbie, Madison, Raegan, McKenzie, Skyler, Robert, Hunter, Dalton, and Aaron; Great-Grandchildren, Luna, Aubree, Mason, Maddox, and Nolan; Special Friend, Richard Bryant.

Melvin Ray Gross was laid to rest on Thursday May 19, 2022 at the Holland Family Cemetery located at Combs, Kentucky.
