Michael Deaton born January 17,1967 departed this life on Saturday September 3,2022 at Combs, Kentucky being 55-years old. Michael was born in Hazard, Kentucky the son of the late Ira Southwood and the late Barbara Ann Deaton. Other than his parents, Michael was also preceded in death by his Step-Dad, Fred Owens; Brother, Steve Southwood; Great-Nephew, Brayson Sebastian; One Granddaughter; Grandparents, Dewey & Pauline Deaton. Michael was an avid Bengals Football fan and loved fishing and fantasy football.

Michael Deaton leaves the following relatives to cherish his memory: Son, Lindon Joseph & Madison of Las Vegas, NV; Special Son, Parker; Daughter, Kristy Deaton of Combs; Special Daughter, Lyn Begley; Sisters, Melissa Maggard & Gary Neace of Hazard, Patricia Godsey of Combs, Tracy Miller & Denny of Hazard; Aunts, Mavis Reed and Edith Cornett; Nieces, Brittany, Shae, Autumn; Nephews, Steve, Tim, and Mikey; One Grandson, Asher Joseph of Las Vegas, NV; A host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends survive.

Funeral Services for Michael Deaton will be conducted on Saturday September 10,2022 at 3:00 P.M. at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home with Pastor Roy Johnson officiating. The Interment will follow in the Deaton Family Cemetery located at Combs, Kentucky. The Visitation will be at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home on Saturday from 1:00 till 3:00 P.M.
