Michael Riley Smith born March 25, 1963 departed this life on Thursday November 24, 2022 at his residence in Happy, Kentucky being 59-years old. Michael was born at Hazard, Kentucky the son of the late Corbett Smith and the late Gertrude Jones Smith. Other than his parents, Michael was also preceded in death by One Brother, Glenn Smith. Michael loved to be outdoors and was always there to help others.

Michael Riley Smith leaves the following relatives to cherish his memory: Significant Other, Shannon Smith of Happy; Sons, Michael Avery Smith of Happy, Glenn Smith of Happy; Daughter, Shelby Smith of Happy; Brothers, Corbett Smith & Susan of Talcum, KY, Anthony Smith of Jackson, KY, Johnny McKenzie of Jackson, KY, Robert McKenzie of Hazard; Sisters, Lisa Gullett of Busy, Juanita McKenzie of Hazard. A host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends survive.
