Monica Anne Spare born August 1, 1953 departed this life on Friday June 23, 2023 being 69-years old.  Monica was preceded in death by her father, Albert Joseph Spare, Jr.; mother, Joyce Louise Buchanan Spare; infant brother, Thomas Anthony Spare.  Monica wanted to express and acknowledge the people who impacted her life so deeply.

Monica Anne Spare leaves the following relatives surviving; son, Thad Steven Duff II & Kendra, Wyatt, and Tyson; four brothers, Michael Albert Spare & Carla, Robert Hugh Spare & Marnie, John Joseph Spare, and Paul George Spare & Janet.  Also surviving are her dearest friends, Elizabeth Ann/Bess Turk Combs, Shirley Slaven-Conley, Suzanne/Susie Kershaw Price, Joann Lyon, and Linda Faulkner.  She thanks you all for the great memories!  Monica also leaves surviving a host of beloved nieces and nephews; Victoria, A.J., Anthony, Sarah, Ashley, Cassie, Kristi, Kevin, and Taite, and their children, and many cousins and other friends.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home on Sunday July 2, 2023 at 3:00 P.M. with Mike Spare conducting the service.  The visitation will be on Sunday at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home from 1:00 – 3:00 P.M.

Monica wanted to thank each of you with her heart and soul, all persons involved with the love and support shown to her during her life.
