Nancy Jane Johnson born September 3, 1956 departed this life on Saturday – January 10, 2026 at her residence in Hazard, Kentucky being 69-years old.  Nancy was born in Letcher County, Kentucky the daughter of the late Joe Johnson and the late Vina Johnson.  Other than her parents, Nancy was also preceded in death by her daughter, Amy Pender Combs; grandson, Christopher Preston; sisters, Joan Johnson, and Linda Johnson.

Nancy Jane Johnson leaves the following relatives to cherish her memory: daughters, Joanna Preston- Maggard & Felix, and Samatha Collins; brothers, Joe Johnson, Dan Johnson, and Mike Johnson; sisters, Ruth Wright, and Maria Johnson; eight grandchildren, Jordan Fields, Megan Jent & Cody, Ethan Collins, Shyla Larue, Carissa Farley, Joesph Brent, Harley Preston, Layla Lamb; two great grandchildren, Audrina, Bentlee; also a host of other relatives & friends survive.

Celebration of Life for Nancy Jane Johnson will be held on Friday – January 16, 2026 at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home from 2:00 – 4:00 P.M.
