Nannie Cornett Conley born October 30, 1942 departed this life on Thursday August 22, 2024 at the Greg & Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center being 81-years old.  Nannie was born in Dwarf, Kentucky the daughter of the late Austin Cornett and the late Maude Katherine Cornett.  Other than her parents, Nannie was also preceded in death by her husband, Eddie Arnold Conley; siblings, Forrest Cornett, Ailene Fizer, Tishia Shelton, Troy Cornett, Roy Cornett, and Willis Earl Cornett.

Nannie was a member of the Consolidated Baptist Church in Hazard, Kentucky.  Nannie was known for her cooking & baking, and her sweet loving personality.  Nannie worked in food service, working at the Hazard A.R.H. and Alice Lloyd College for many years, providing meals with genuine love and her exceptional cooking skills.

Nannie Cornett Conley leaves the following relatives to cherish her memory: children, James Edward Conley & Sabrina of Dwarf, KY, Nannette Renee Sturgill & Chuck of Viper, KY and Cletis Howard Conley & Stephanie of Viper, KY; nine grandchildren, Anthony Wayne Conley & Ida, Christopher Allen Conley & Amber, Steven Austin Davidson & Haley, Alexandria Nannette Davidson, Brandy Fuson & Ricky, Hannah Callahan, Edward Dean Davidson, Kendall Eugene Davidson, and Laura Sue Conley; eight great-grandchildren, Sierra Miller, Emma Grace Conley, Aria Marie Conley, Penny Conley, Marci Conley, Chevelle Grace Davidson, Ricky Wade Fuson III, and Mayla Kincaid Davidson; also a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends survive.

Visitation for Nannie Cornett Conley will be conducted on Sunday August 25, 2024 at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home from 6:00 – 9:00 P.M.  Funeral Service will take place on Monday August 26, 2024 at the Consolidated Baptist Church in Hazard, Kentucky at 1:00 P.M. with Rev. Lowell Parker officiating.  The Interment will follow in the Cornett Family Cemetery located at Dwarf, Kentucky.
