Nelda Ann Hughes Spencer born February 4, 1959 departed this life on Monday October 23, 2023 at her residence in Hallie, Kentucky being 64-years old. Nelda was born in Hazard, Kentucky the daughter of the late J.D. Hughes and the late Geneva Coghill. Other than her Parents, Nelda was also preceded in death by her brothers, John Hughes and Phillip Hughes.

Nelda Ann Hughes Spencer leaves the following relatives to cherish her memory: Husband, Denzil Ray Spencer of Hallie, KY; Sons, Denzil Spencer & Regina of Hallie, KY, John Thomas Spencer & Rosa Couch of Saul, KY, Kevin Spencer & Rosemary Couch of Perry County, Steven Spencer of Hazard; Sister, Charlene Hughes of Hazard. A host of Grandchildren, One Great-Grandson, Preston, a host of other relatives and friends survive.

Funeral Services for Nelda Ann Hughes Spencer will be conducted on Wednesday October 25, 2023 at 1:00 P.M. at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home with Denzil Spencer from the House of Prayer, Buddy Collins and Ted Collins officiating. The Interment will follow in the Scuddy Cemetery located at Vicco, Kentucky. The Visitation will be at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home on Wednesday from 11:00 till 1:00 P.M.
