Nellie Mae Howard born November 27, 1939 departed this life on Thursday July 28, 2022 at Chavies, Kentucky being 82-years old. Nellie was born at Hazard, Kentucky the daughter of the late Jim Estep and the late Mary Estep. Other than her Parents, Nellie was also preceded in death by her Husband, Earl Howard; Son, John Terry Johnson. Nellie was a Devout Christian and loved her flowers, especially her rose bushes.

Nellie Mae Howard leaves the following relatives to cherish her memory: Daughter, Patricia Collins & Ben Crase of Chavies, KY; Four Grandchildren, Angel Campbell & Justin, Chris Collins & Brandi, Andrea Melton & Wayne, Misty Frazier & James; Nine Great-Grandchildren, Connor, Lily, Skylar, Lucas, Ashley, Tamara, Amy, Tristan, and Lexi. Eight Great-Great Grandchildren, a host of other relatives and friends survive.

Funeral Services for Nellie Mae Howard will be conducted on Monday August 1, 2022 at 1:00 P.M. at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home with Ken Miller and Joe Engle officiating. The Interment will follow in the Johnson Cemetery located at Chavies, Kentucky. The Visitation will be at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home on Monday from 11:00 till 1:00 P.M.
