Norman "Bud" Sumner born April 19, 1948 departed this life on Sunday August 27, 2023 at his residence in Vicco, Kentucky being 75-years old.  Bud was born in Hazard, Kentucky the son of the late Eli Sumner and the late Hazel Sumner.  Other than his parents, Bud also was preceded in death by Three Sisters, Lee Cody, Ann Sumner, and Persie Sumner; Four Brothers, Wayne Sumner, Eli Jr. Sumner, John Sumner, and Esom Sumner.  Bud loved to play poker, fishing and his dogs.

Norman "Bud" Sumner leaves the following relatives to cherish his memory: Wife of 50-years, Patricia Sumner of Vicco; Son, Jamie Sumner & Rebecca of Vicco; Daughter, Penny Frost & Tony of Indiana; Brothers, Coby Dean Sumner of Indiana and Danny Sumner of Indiana; Sister, Mary Pence of Indiana; Three Grandchildren, Jessica Frost, Stephanie Frost, and Brianna Sumner; Three Great-Grandchildren, Carson Hicks, Ivyana Zuber, and Adaleigh Kinzer; also a host of other relatives and friends survive.
