Ode Jean Fields born January 8, 1942 departed this life on Thursday December 15, 2022 at the Hazard Health & Rehabilitation Center in Hazard being 80-years old. Ode was born in Hazard, Kentucky the daughter of the late Melvin Fugate and the late Betty Miller Fugate. Other than her parents, Ode was also preceded in death by her Husband, Kenneth Fields; Son, Randall Lynn Napier; Twin Sister, Joyce Dean; Sister, Mamie Louise Fugate; Brother, John Corbett Fugate; Four additional Brothers & Sisters with the last name of Fugate.

Ode Jean Fields leaves the following relatives to cherish her memory: Son, Glenn Dale Smith of Indianapolis, IN; Two Daughters, Deborah Neace of Bonnyman, Janet Lee Campbell of Bonnyman; Special Brother, Adam of Indianapolis, IN; Special Sister, Dora of FL; Six Grandchildren, Angela, Rebecca, Dianna, Randall Wayne , Emily,  and A.C.; Five Great-Grandchildren. A host of other relatives and friends survive.

Visitation for Ode Jean Fields will be conducted on Sunday December 18, 2022 at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home from 11:00 till 1:00 P.M. The Interment will follow in the Mudlick Cemetery located at Grapevine, Kentucky.
