Opal Morris born February 13, 1960 departed this life on Monday May 1, 2023 at the Pikeville Medical Center being 63-years old. Opal was born in Hazard, Kentucky the daughter of the late Frank Sturgill and Juanita Marie Sumner. Other than her Father, Opal was also preceded in death by One Son, Nicholas Brian Noplis.

Opal Morris leaves the following relatives to cherish her memory: Mother, Juanita Marie Sumner of Hazard; One Son, Brandon Morris of Hazard; Daughter, Christy Wisdom of Bulan; Brothers, Kenneth Darrell Sturgill of Happy, Keith Sturgill of Garrett, KY, Robbie Dwayne Sturgill of Hueysville, KY, Timothy Scott Sturgill of Georgetown KY; Sister, Debra Gail House of Bulan; Special Niece, Jamie Lynn Deaton of Sassafras, KY; Grandchildren, Airelle Dakota Wisdom, Allison Morris, and Alaysia Morris; Great-Grandchild, Taelynn Pease. A host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends survive.

Memorial Services for Opal Morris will be conducted on Friday May 5, 2023 at 4:00 P.M. at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home with B.J. Campbell officiating.
