Ova Wayne Combs born June 10, 1966 departed this life on Wednesday – July 1, 2026 at the Hazard A.R.H. being 60-years old.  Wayne was born in Chicago, Illinois to the late Virgil Combs and the late Carolyn Sue Couch Combs.  Other than his parents, Wayne was also preceded in death by two sisters, Beulah Mae Johnson and Faye Hurt; brother, Randy "Bo" Combs; grandchild, Zachary Combs; son-in-law, Roy "Buzz" Combs.  Wayne was an avid carpenter, he enjoyed hunting, catfishing, and being outdoors.  Wayne loved going to church, he was a talented musician, playing the guitar, bass guitar and singing for the Lord.

Ova Wayne Combs leaves the following relatives to cherish his memory: wife of 40-years, Juanita Johnson Combs of Clearfork; daughter, Melinda Combs of Eubank, KY; son, Virgil Wayne Combs of Clearfork; brother, Tommy Combs of Cockrell's Fork; sisters, Connie Miller of Bonnyman, KY and Lisa Hurt of Hazard, KY; twelve grandchildren: Noah Combs & Skyler, Emily Foster & Justin, Lily Grace Combs, Jonah Combs, Kenton Combs, Jackson Combs, Braxton Wayne Combs, Camden Combs, Destiny Combs, Carson Combs, Kain Combs, and Randall Combs; also a host of many other relatives & friends survive.

Funeral Services for Ova Wayne Combs will be conducted on Monday – July 6, 2026 at 12:00 P.M. at the Clear Fork Free Pentecostal Church of God with Eli Johnson officiating.  The Interment will follow in the Johnson Family Cemetery located at Clear Fork, Kentucky.  The Visitation will be held at the Clear Fork Free Pentecostal Church of God on Sunday – July 5, 2026 after 6:00 P.M.
