Pauletta Deaton born August 4, 1952 departed this life on Tuesday-June 3, 2025 at the Greg and Noreen Hospice Center in Hazard, Kentucky being 72-years old.  Pauletta was born in Hazard, Kentucky the daughter of the late Waldon Salyers and the late Mayme Salyers.  Other than her parents, Pauletta also preceded in death by her sisters, Maudie Ritchie, Betty Joe Farris, Lois Johnston, Shirley Dorsey, and Phyllis Dorsey; brothers, Walden Salyers Jr., George Warren Salyers, Paul Wayne Salyers; son, Michael Deaton. Pauletta loved flowers and gardening, and most of all her grandchildren.

Pauletta Deaton  leaves the following relatives to cherish her memory: husband, Arnett Deaton; daughter, Sheryl Abner and Jeremy; brothers, Tommy Salyers of Geneva, Ohio, Billy Ray Salyers of Hazard, Kentucky; sisters, Mary Jane Way of Geneva, Ohio, Edna Mae Grimmett of Geneva, Ohio, Virgie Davis of Geneva, Ohio; grandchildren, Kaeley Paige Deaton, Jasey Mika-lynn Abner, Journey Monroe Abner; one great grandchild, Mason Verge.
