Phyllis Jean Baker born August 1,1947 departed this life on Thursday June 29,2023 at the Hazard A.R.H. being 75-years old. Phyllis was born in Logan, WV the daughter of the late Elijah Fields and the late Georgie Miles Fields. Other than her Parents, Phyllis was also preceded in death by her Husband, Jack Baker; Brothers, Eugene Fields and Virgil Fields; Sisters, Carol Colwell and Faye Couch.

Phyllis Jean Baker leaves the following relatives to cherish her memory: Daughter, Lisa Martin & Ronnie of Hazard; Two Brothers, Carlos Fields of OH, Elijah Fields, Jr. & Phyllis of Austin, IN; Grandson, Shaun Adams; Step-Granddaughters, Brittany Varney & Kent, Tracy Bentley; Great-Granddaughter, Amberly Adams; Step-Great Grandchildren, Grayson Bentley, Lacie Baker, and Ian Baker. A host of other relatives and friends survive.

Funeral Services for Phyllis Jean Baker will be conducted on Sunday July 2,2023 at 2:00 P.M. at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home with Merill David Collins officiating. The Interment will follow in the Butterfly Cemetery located at Busy, Kentucky. The Visitation will be at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home on Sunday from 1:00 till 2:00 P.M.
