Polly Ann Haynes Simmons born April 23, 1963 departed this life on Tuesday September 19, 2023 at the Hazard A.R.H. being 60-years old. Polly was born in Knott County, Kentucky the daughter of the late John Hughes and the late Equilla Feltner Hughes. Other than her Parents, Polly was also preceded in death by her Husbands, Denzil Haynes and Teddy Eugene Simmons, Jr.; Son, Teddy Eugene Simmons, III; One Sister, Brenda Holland; Brother, John Hughes. Polly loved her job at Hazard Health & Rehabilitation Center where She had worked for nearly twenty years, and spending time with her family.

Polly Ann Haynes Simmons leaves the following relatives to cherish her memory: Sons, Gary Lee Haynes & Barbie of Combs, Kenneth Wayne Haynes & Charlene of Beattyville, KY; Daughter, Samantha Gail Davidson & Jody of Beattyville, KY; Sisters, Zola Haynes of Combs, KY, Shirley Sizemore & William of Avawam, Diane Bowling & Sam of Bowling Green, KY; Grandchildren, Lynsey, Kenneth, Addie, Anahbell, Kane, and Aurora; Great-Grandchildren, Clayton and Melanie; Special family at the Hazard Health & Rehabilitation Center; A host of other relatives and friends survive.

Funeral Services for Polly Ann Haynes Simmons will be conducted on Friday September 22, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Campbell officiating. The Interment will follow in the Family Cemetery located at Combs, Kentucky. The Visitation will be at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home on Friday from 12:00 till 2:00 P.M.
