Rachel Williams born January 21, 1947 departed this life on Friday July 5, 2024 at the Greg & Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard being 77 years old. Raichel was born in Lost Creek, Kentucky the daughter of the late Robert Hughes and the late Mary Miller Hughes. Other than her parents, Raichel was also preceded in death by her brother, Luther Daniel Hughes.

Rachel Williams leaves the following relatives to cherish her memory: husband of 56 years, Elbert Williams of Hazard; son, E.J. Williams of Hazard; granddaughters, Alexis Colwell and Mandy Gibson; best friend, Carol McDonald.
