Renita Kay Mullis born October 7, 1960 departed this life on Friday October 18, 2024 in Buckhorn, Kentucky being 64-years old.  Renita was born in Columbus, Indiana the daughter of the late Maxwell F. Mullis and the late Luessie Mullis.  Other than her parents, Renita was also preceded in death by two brothers, Anthony Hartwell and Robert Hartwell.  Renita loved her family and had a special love for her dogs.

Renita Kay Mullis leaves the following relatives to cherish her memory: Life-Partner of 35-years, Ronald Wayne Rice; two daughters, Brittany Proctor & Josh and Shatawna Foster & Derrick; brother, Mark Hartwell; two sisters, Cheryl Hatton and Annie Villa; three grandchildren, Brayden, Westley, and Austin; also a host of other relatives and friends survive.
