Richard Lee Baker born October 7, 1942 departed this life on Saturday October 28, 2023 at the Hazard A.R.H. being 81-years old. Richard was born at Hazard, Kentucky the son of the late Amos Baker and the late Flora Fugate Baker. Other than his Parents, Richard was also preceded in death by his Brother, Rufus Baker and was a born again child of God and enjoyed watching Church on t.v.

Richard Lee Baker leaves the following relatives to cherish his memory: Wife of 53-years, Bobbie Jean Baker of Hazard; Sons, Timothy Scott Baker of Lexington, KY, Tommy Richard Baker of Big Creek, KY; Brother, Don Baker of Hazard; Sisters, Clara Sue Stidham of Hazard, Rose Uhir of FL; Grandchildren, Cory Baker and Casey Baker of Lexington, KY. A host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends survive.

Funeral Services for Richard Lee Baker will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday November 1, 2023 at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home with Pastor Johnie Akers officiating. The Interment will follow in the Eversole Cemetery located at Big Creek, Kentucky. The Visitation will be at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home on Tuesday evening from 6:00 till 9:00 P.M.
