Ricky Lyn Griffie born March 30, 1967 departed this life on Saturday April 16, 2022 at the Manchester Advent Health being 55-years old.  Ricky was born in Cleveland, Ohio the son of the late Renis Griffie and the late Linda Griffie.  Other than his parents, Ricky was also preceded in death by his Paternal Grandparents, Marlin & Gertrude Griffie; Maternal Grandparents, Verbon & Mamie Sullivan. Ricky loved hunting, fishing, U.K. athletics and most of all spending time with family.

Ricky Griffie leaves the following relatives to cherish his memory: Two Sons, Joey Griffie & Tylan of Hazard and Adam Griffie of Hazard; Step-Son, James Ray Jones; Two Brothers, Renis Griffie, Jr. & Jama of Hazard and Todd Griffie of London, KY; Special Nieces & Nephews, Emily Griffie, Hunter Griffie, Kara Cox, and Kellen Cox; Special Children, Dakota Hughes and Jax Hughes; also a host of other relatives and friends survive.

Funeral Services for Ricky Griffie will be conducted on Wednesday April 20, 2022 at 3:00 P.M. at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home with Pastor Buddy Turner officiating.  The Interment will follow in the Resthaven Cemetery located at Jeff, Kentucky.  The Visitation will be at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home on Wednesday from 1:00 – 3:00 P.M.
