Robert Allen Smith born June 9, 1971 departed this life on Saturday September 23, 2023 at his residence in Combs, Kentucky being 52-years old.  Robert was born in Hazard, Kentucky the son of the late McCajah Michael Napier and the late Aletta Sue Slone Napier.  Other than his parents, Robert was also preceded in death by his brother, Stevie Campbell and maternal grandmother, Lorraine Slone.  Robert enjoyed doing carpentry work and training his dog Zena, whom was truly his best friend.

Robert Allen Smith leaves the following relatives to cherish his memory: wife, Malissa Smith of Combs, KY; sons, Zachary Allen Smith, Macajah Bryan Smith, and Dakota Halcomb all of Combs, KY; brothers, Phillip M. Slone & Renee of Richmond, KY and Brandon Smith & Laurel of Hazard, KY; sisters, Sheila Stamper & Haskel of Lexington, KY, Alice Lorraine New of New Tazewell, TN and Kathy Fugate & Tony Gale of Talcum, KY; father-in-law, Bryan Stacy, Jr.; mother-in-law, Stella Stacy; sister-in-law, Vanessa Stacy; a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends survive.

A memorial service will be held for Robert Allen Smith on Tuesday September 26, 2023 at 6:00 P.M. at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home with Merill David Collins officiating.  The Visitation will be at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home on Tuesday from 4:00 – 6:00 P.M.
