Robert was born at Watertown, New York the son of the late Martin Campbell and the late Ruth Mary Palka-Campbell. Other than his parents, Robert was also preceded in death by his Brother, Thomas; Sisters, Cora and Mary; Grandfather, John Campbell; Grandmother, Sarah Campbell. Robert was a Veteran of the United States Airforce and loved Hunting and Fishing.

Robert John Campbell leaves the following relatives to cherish his memory: Wife of 41 years, Brenda Campbell of Hazard; Son, Martin Scott Campbell of Hazard; Step-Children, Bonnie Hogie & Mark of Fort.
