Robin "Robbie" Hurt born July 17, 1959 departed this life on Thursday – February 19, 2026 at the Greg & Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard, Kentucky being 66-years old.  Robbie was born in Hazard, Kentucky the son of the late Jack Hurt and the late Della Colwell Hurt.  Other than his parents, Robbie was also preceded in death by his brothers: Lester "Caveman" Hurt and Jerry "Yad" Hurt.  Robbie was outgoing as he loved to go fishing, camping, as well as reading books and playing his guitar.

Robin "Robbie" Hurt leaves the following relatives to cherish his memory: Four Brothers: Thomas Hurt & Misty of Vicco, Burt Hurt & Tammy of Hazard, Michael Hurt of Bonnyman, and Timothy Bruce Hurt of Chavies; Step-Daughter: Imogene Ashley & Scott of Hazard; Special Nephew: Cody Hurt; Special Friend: Charles "Furby" Begley; Little Special Buddy: Karson Crawford; 7-Grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives & friends survive.

Funeral Services for Robin "Robbie" Hurt will be conducted on Sunday – February 22, 2026 at 2:00 P.M. at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home with Merill David Collins officiating.  The Interment will follow in the Hurt Family Cemetery located at Lower Second Creek.  The Visitation will be at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home on Saturday evening from 6:00 – 9:00 P.M.  Military Rites will be performed by the Hazard-Perry County D.A.V. Chapter #64.
