Roger Lee" Rodney" Turner, Sr. born June 3, 1946 departed this life on Wednesday March 23, 2022 at the Hazard A.R.H. being 75-years old. Rodney was born at Hazard, Kentucky the son of the late Henry Turner and the late Caroline Couch Turner. Other than his parents, Rodney was also preceded in death by Four Sisters, Cleta Pence, Marie Villareal, Bobbie Jean Richie, and Jessie Collins; Brother, William Joseph Turner; Ex-Wife & Special Friend, Mary Ann Bergadon; Special Dog & Best Friend, Sandy. Rodney loved cars and doing body repair work.

Roger Lee Turner, Sr. leaves the following relatives to cherish his memory: Son, Roger Lee Turner, Jr. of Hazard; Two Sisters, Kathleen Turner McHugh of Chicago, Illinois, Patty Turner Couch of Busy; Special Brother-In-Law, Edward Couch; Ex-Wives & Special Friends, Joan Smith of Huntsville, AL & Rose Johnson of Sunrise Beach, Missouri; Two Step-Daughters, Barbara Duff of Ohio and Vanessa Bergadon of Hazard; Step-Son, Brett Bergadon of Hazard; Four Grandchildren, Makayla, Sean, Andrew, and Victoria; Three Step-Grandchildren, Alexis, Gunner, and Theo; One Great-Grandson; Special Nephews, David, Paul, and Benny. A host of Nieces, and other Relatives and Friends survive.

Funeral Services for Rodney Turner, Sr. will be conducted on Saturday March 26, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home with Larry Smith and B.J. Campbell officiating. The Interment will follow in the Riverside Cemetery located at Hazard, Kentucky. The Visitation will be at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home on Saturday from 12:00 till 2:00 P.M. In Lieu of Flowers, Donations may be made towards the funeral expenses.
