Roger Lee Turner, Jr. born January 30, 1978 departed this life on Friday May 12, 2023 at the U.K. Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky being 45-years old. Roger was born in Chicago, Illinois the son of Joan Smith and the late Roger Lee Turner, Sr. Other than his father, Roger was also preceded in death by his Paternal Grandparents, Henry & Caroline Turner and Maternal Grandparents, Russell & Beatrice Carpenter. Roger was a member of the Fallen Kings Motorcycle Club, enjoyed working on cars and gardening. Roger was a giving person, even in death donating his kidneys to better someone else.

Roger Lee Turner, Jr. leaves the following relatives to cherish his memory: Sons, Sean Turner and Andrew Turner; Daughters, MaKayla Allen and Victoria Turner; Mother, Joan Smith; Sister, Barbara Duff; Step-Sister, Vanessa Bergadon; Step-Brother, Brett Bergadon; Special Aunt, Patty Turner Couch; Special Friend, Nicole Feltner; Special Cousins, David, Paul and Aaron Collins; also a host of other relatives and friends survive.

Funeral Services for Roger Lee Turner, Jr. will be conducted on Tuesday May 16, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home with Larry Smith officiating. The Interment will follow in the Riverside Cemetery located at Hazard, Kentucky. The Visitation will be at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home on Tuesday from 12:00 – 2:00 P.M.
