Roland Burns born December 11, 1942, departed this life on Tuesday – August 19, 2025, at Baptist Health in Lexington, Kentucky being 82-years old.  Roland was born in Hazard, Kentucky and was the son of the late Pearl Burns and the late Eva Burns, other than his parents Roland was also preceded in death by his wife, Ella.

Roland Burns leaves the following relatives to cherish his memory:  sons, David Burns, Matthew Burns, Michael Burns & Tammy, Josh; brothers, Roger Burns, Ronnie Burns; sister, Sammie Burns; grandchildren, Dustin, Shawn, Michael, Alexandra; four great grandchildren.

Celebration of life for Roland Burns will be held on Thursday – August 21, 2025, from 6:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home.
