Ronald "Ronnie" Barnett born March 11, 1950 departed this life on Saturday November 12, 2022 at his residence in Hazard, Kentucky being 72-years old.  Ronnie was born in Hazard, Kentucky the son of the late Hillard Barnett and the late Rennie Faye Elam Barnett.  Ronnie was a Underground Tank Contractor and a member of the Ira Combs Baptist Church.

Ronald "Ronnie" Barnett leaves the following relatives to cherish his memory: Wife of 55-years, Betty Barnett of Hazard, KY; Three Children, Steve Barnett & Jennifer of Viper, Angie Crawford & Donnie of Hazard, and Jason Barnett & Amanda of Hazard; Brother, Michael Barnett & Lema of Viper; Seven Grandchildren, Cody (Lauren), Jon (Ricki Jo), Autumn (Cameron), Jacob, Dawson, Ethan, and Landon; Seven Great-Grandchildren, Bentley, Bella, Kyson, Sophia, Maddox, Jaelynn, and Raegan; Special Nieces, Lori Sheroan & Joey, Rae Ann Barnett & Jamie, Celenia Stacy & Scott; also a host of other relatives and friends survive.

Visitation for Ronnie Barnett will be conducted on Thursday evening from 6:00 – 9:00 P.M. at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home.  The Funeral Service will be at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home on Friday November 18, 2022 at 12:00 P.M. with Cody Barnett and Craig Daniels officiating.  The Interment will follow in the Resthaven Cemetery located at Jeff, Kentucky.  In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ira Combs Baptist Church at P.O. Box 272 – Jeff, Kentucky 41751.  The following will serve as pallbearers, Eric Pratt, Kenny Pratt, Ethan Welch, Dawson Barnett, Carl Webb and Daniel Thies.
