Ronnie Gene "Jack" McIntyre born February 7, 1941 departed this life on Friday August 2, 2024 at his residence in Viper, Kentucky being 83-years old. Ronnie was born in Viper, Kentucky the son of the late Lawrence McIntyre and the late Maggie York. Other than his parents, Jack was also preceded in death by his late wife, Mary Jane (Tince) McIntyre; step-son, Emery Engle; a host of aunts and uncles. Jack loved hunting, fishing, gardening, working and building, watching westerns and antique vehicles. He was a Deacon at the Rogers Branch Church of Christ and enjoyed singing for the Lord at the nursing home, social events or while sitting on the porch swinging. Ronnie was always willing to help others in need whether in person or praying for them over the telephone.

Jack McIntyre leaves the following relatives to cherish his memory: wife, Vernia McIntyre of Viper; sons, Clifford McIntyre & Chris of Viper, Willie McIntyre & Rachel of Wyandotte, MI; daughter, Kelsey Engle & Tyler of Hazard; brother, Neil York & Vivian of MI; sister, Bonnie Jean McKenzie of MI; special friend close as a brother, Doug "Elvis" Pennington; grandchildren, Clifford McIntyre, Jr. & Kathy, Lindsey & Michael, Tabetha & Jasper, Jessica, Nicholas, Kimberly, Hunter, Fenicha & Adam, Allie, Gabby & Bryan, Donovan, Brendon, Kateri & Patrick, Shayla and Collie Sue; great-grandchildren, Tyson, Kamryn, Serenity, Lorenzo & Lindsey, Laelyn, Miles, Braxton, Ivee, Liam, Roen, Avery, Carter, Evan, Addy, Ace, Payson, Waylon, Serenity and Dakalyn. A host of nieces, nephews, church family, relatives and friends survive.

Visitation for Jack McIntyre will be conducted on Sunday August 4, 2024 at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home from 6:00 – 9:00 P.M.  Funeral Services will be held on Monday August 5, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home with Karl Baker, Bud Farler and Andrew Lewis officiating. The Interment will follow in the Ben Cornett Cemetery located in Viper, Kentucky.
