Roy Scott Asher born April 17, 1971 departed this life on Saturday June 17, 2023 at the Hazard A.R.H. being 52-years old.  Scott was born in Hazard, Kentucky the son of the late Roy Asher and the late Karen Maggard Asher.  Other than his parents, Scott was also preceded in death by Grandparents, Charles Asher, Elmer Maggard and Kate Dykes Maggard; Uncle, Ronnie Maggard.  Scott was a gifted musician and master electrician.

Roy Scott Asher leaves the following relatives to cherish his memory: Grandmother, Allie Asher of Tennessee; Children, Darren Asher of Corbin, Austin Asher of Hyden, Charlie Asher of Hyden, and Brylyn Asher of Hyden; Mother of youngest children, Brittany Young of Hyden; Aunts, Jackie Asher & Roger Bowling of Tennessee, and Linda Deaton of Tennessee; Uncle, Larry Dykes & Charlotte of Stinnett, KY; Cousins, Allison Asher, Tara Dykes, Katie Dykes, Alex Hoskins, and Zach Hoskins; Also a host of other relatives and friends survive.

Visitation for Roy Scott Asher will be held on Saturday June 24, 2023 at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home from 1:00 – 3:00 P.M. with a Celebration of Life Service to follow at 3:00 P.M. with Rev. Billy Joe Lewis officiating.
