Mr. Roy James Eversole was born September 2, 1934, in Perry County, Kentucky and departed this life on Tuesday October 11, 2022 at the Eastern Kentucky Veterans Center in Hazard, Kentucky being 88-years old. Roy was the son of the late Oscar Eversole and the late Eva Eversole. Other than his parents, Roy was also preceded in death by his Wife, Wanda Eversole; One Daughter Kimberly Eversole; Sister, Mona Mills & Marvin; and Special Nephew, Keith Mills.

Roy enjoyed fishing, hunting, basketball and swimming very much.  He proudly served in the United States Air Force.  Roy had a very quick whit about him that he will be remembered for especially on the CB radio. He took pride in his family and in his community.

Mr. Roy James Eversole is survived by his One Daughter, Cozetta Watts & Tim; Brother, Loy Eversole & Mary; Two-Granddaughters, Renae Gross and Marla Miller; 5 Great-Grandchildren, Jonathan Eversole, Trent Gross, John David Abel, Ethan Abel and Chelsea Mullins; Special Nieces, Sandra Mills, Theresa Eversole, Jessica Lee & Oscar, Nichole Friedenberg; Special Nephews, Michael Mills & Beth, Michael Mills Jr., Nathan Mills, and Raymond Raynor.

A Private Service for Mr. Roy James Eversole will be conducted on Friday with a Public Celebration of Life will be at a later date.
