Ruben James Miller born July 16, 1956 departed this life on Saturday February 15, 2025 at the Greg & Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard, Kentucky being 68-years old.  R.J.  was born in Hazard, Kentucky the son of the late Zack Miller and the late Leanna Hughes Miller.  Other than his parents, R.J. was also preceded in death by his brothers, Luke Miller, Jim Miller, Goodloe Miller, Ova Miller, Johnny Green Miller, Grimm Collins, Estill Miller, and Sam Miller; sister, Cleda Mae Hughes.  R.J. was well known by many delivering pizza's, he truly loved his job and the people he came across daily.  R.J. loved his kids, grandkids, and family dearly, and cherished the time he spent with them all.

Ruben James Miller leaves the following relatives to cherish his memory: kids, Josh Miller & Jennifer Engle of Hazard, KY and Leann Popp & Charlie of Hazard, KY; brothers, Charlie Miller of Hazard, KY and William Miller of Grapevine, KY; grandchildren, Chandler McClure, Caleb McClure, Braylon Miller, Jacob Popp & Becca, Brianna Popp, Braxton Popp, Jordan Popp, and Bryson Popp; great-grandchildren, Ava Popp and Wiley Popp; special friend, Clercie Miller; special niece, Sheila Mae Miller; also a host of other relatives and friends survive.

Funeral Services for Ruben James Miller will be conducted on Wednesday February 19, 2025 at 1:00 P.M. at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home with Burton Neace officiating.  The Interment will follow in the Millertown Cemetery located at Lost Creek, Kentucky.  The Visitation will be held on Tuesday evening at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home from 6:00 – 9:00 P.M.
