Rufus Lynn Creech born March 15, 1975 departed this life on Tuesday – June 30, 2026 being 51-years old.  Rufus was born in Hazard, Kentucky the son of Delores Williams Creech and the late John Creech.  Other than his father, Rufus was also preceded in death by maternal grandparents, E.C. & Rushie Williams; paternal grandparents, Mendell & Lucy Creech; nieces, Kayla Creech and Lucy Creech.  Rufus loved hunting & fishing, mechanic work, farming his animals, and above all spending time with his family.

Rufus Lynn Creech leaves the following relatives to cherish his memory: wife, Donna Jean Creech of Grapevine; mother, Delores Creech of Grapevine; siblings, Tina Lewis & David of Murray, KY, Anthony Creech of Perry County, Ronnie Creech & Crystal of Perry County, and Misty Wurth & Robert of Murray, KY; special nieces & nephews, Autumn, Logan, Isiah, Melissa, Margaret, James, McKayla, Malachiah, Hannah, and Elijah; also a host of many other relatives & friends survive.

Visitation will be held for Rufus Lynn Creech on Friday – July 10, 2026 at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home.  Interment will take place on Saturday – July 11, 2026 at the Creech Family Cemetery located at Hiner in Bulan, Kentucky.
