Sally Mae Campbell born July 12, 1952 departed this life on Saturday September 23, 2023 at the Hazard A.R.H. being 71-years old.  Sally was born in Hazard, Kentucky the daughter of the late Wilson Hughes and the late Nancy Holland Campbell.  Other than her parents, Sally was also preceded in death by her husband, Harold Campbell; grandson, Terry Campbell; sister, Bobbie Holland; brother, Bill Holland and life partner, Stanley "Ray" Coomer.  Sally was a family person, always enjoyed her family and especially adored her two granddaughters.

Sally Mae Campbell leaves the following relatives to cherish her memory: sons, Luther Campbell & Rebekah of Grapevine and Alfred Campbell & Tracie of Second Creek; granddaughters, Amy Campbell & Craig of Chavies and Savannah Taulbee & Austin of Breathitt County; great-grandson, Waylon Feltner; sister, Wanda Holland & George of Dunraven; brothers, Daniel Hughes & Brenda of Illinois, Wilson Hughes & Belinda of Illinois, Tony Hughes & Donna of Illinois, Michael Hughes of Hazard, Johnny Hughes of Brownsfork, James Hughes of Hazard, and Lawrence Campbell & Jessica of Brownsfork; also a host of other relatives and friends survive.

There will be Visitation for Sally Mae Campbell on Thursday September 28, 2023 at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home from 12:00 – 2:00 P.M.
