Sally Esther Whitaker born January 30, 1939 departed this life on Tuesday October 25, 2022 at the Greg & Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center being 83-years old.  Sally was born in Hazard, Kentucky the daughter of the late Irvin Eversole and the late Zona Stacy Eversole.  Other than her parents, Sally was also preceded in death by her Husband Bobby Whitaker; Brother, Alfred Eversole and Sister, Elizabeth Ann Eversole.  Sally enjoyed spending time with her family & grandchildren, and was a member of the 11 ^th Hour Worship Center in Hazard.

Sally Esther Whitaker leaves the following relatives to cherish her memory: Daughter, Pamela Stacy & Greg of Big Creek, KY; Two Sons, Michael Whitaker & Joyce of Big Creek, KY and Lowell Whitaker of Big Creek, KY; Three Grandsons, Gregory Stacy, Brandon Stacy, and Nicholas Whitaker; Great-Grandchild, Kylie Stacy; Three Sisters, Betty Eversole of Corbin, Brenda Campbell & Danny of Williamsburg, OH and Launa Morris & Reed of Big Creek; Two Brothers, Vernon Eversole & Wanda of Lothair and Clarence Eversole & Darlene of Big Creek; also a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends survive.

Visitation for Sally Whitaker will be conducted on Friday October 28, 2022 at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home from 6:00 – 9:00 P.M.  Funeral Services will be held on Saturday October 29, 2022 at 1:00 P.M. at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home with Pastor Terry Joseph officiating.  The Interment will follow in the Whitaker Family Cemetery located at Big Creek, Kentucky.
