Sam Raney Collins born August 31, 1954 departed this life on Sunday December 11, 2022 at his residence in Bonnyman, Kentucky being 68-years old. Sam was born in Hazard, Kentucky the son of the late Harry Collins and the late Marie Duff Collins. Other than his parents, Sam was also preceded in death by Two Brothers, Ishmael Collins and Lida Collins. Sam worked in the Coal Mines the majority of his life.

Sam Raney Collins leaves the following relatives to cherish his memory: Wife of 14-years, Mary Collins of Bonnyman; Son, Sam Collins, Jr. & Angela of Hazard; Brothers, Steve Collins of Indianapolis, IN, Jessie Collins of Bonnyman, Cecil Collins of Hazard; Sister, Ethel Runyon of Henderson, KY, Grandchildren, Zane and Jessica. A host of other relatives and friends survive.

Funeral Services for Sam Raney Collins will be conducted on Friday December 16, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home. The Interment will follow in the Eversole Cemetery located at Bonnyman, Kentucky. The Visitation will be at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home on Thursday evening from 4:00 till 9:00 P.M. In Lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make donations towards the funeral expenses.
