Sam Daniels born July 6, 1939 departed this life on Saturday January 14, 2023 at the Hazard Health & Rehab being 83-years old.  Sam was born in Harlan, Kentucky the son of the late Harrison Daniels and the late Georgia Daniels.  Other than his parents, Sam was also preceded in death by his Wife, Orlena Daniels; Son, David Daniels; Brothers, Dock and Fred; Sisters, Susie Noble, Marie Campbell, and Oma Jewell.  Sam was retired Coal Miner, he had worked for Blue Diamond Coal Company.

Sam Daniels leaves the following relatives to cherish his memory: Son, James Daniels & Becky of Busy, KY; Step-Son, Thomas Michael Milam & Vicky of Krypton, KY; Step-Daughters, Judy Williams & Harold of Hazard, KY and Brenda Hash & Byron of Taylor County; Sister, Geraldine Vaughn of East Bernstadt, KY; 14-Grandchildren, 23-Great Grandchildren, also a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends survive.

Visitation for Sam Daniels will be held on Wednesday January 18, 2023 at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home from 12:00 – 1:00 P.M.  Funeral Service will follow on Wednesday at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home at 1:00 P.M. with B.J. Campbell and Larry Gross officiating.  The Interment will follow in the Sam Daniels Cemetery located at Busy, Kentucky.
