SFC Glenn Clifton Cornett, Sr. born July 16, 1963 departed this life on Friday August 11, 2023 at the Hazard A.R.H. being 60-years old.  Glenn was born in Hazard, Kentucky the son of the late Ova Cornett, Sr. and Nanna Belle Cornett.  Other than his parents, Glenn was also preceded in death by his siblings, Rodney Cornett and Ova Cornett, Jr.  Glenn was a Veteran of the U.S. Army.

SFC Glenn Clifton Cornett, Sr. leaves the following relatives to cherish his memory: Wife of 18-years, Jona Cornett; Three Daughters, Amanda Fitchpatrick & Patrick, Kayla Bryant & Corey, and Anna Jones & Jason; Two Sons, Thomas Joseph & Alma and Glenn Griffie & Sherri; 13-Grandchildren, Bryston, Tyler, Nathan, Nicholas, Noah, Alyssa, Jeana, Andrea, Alex, Ryleigh, Aiden, Gabriel, and Waylon; also a host of other relatives and friends survive.

Funeral Services for SFC Glenn Clifton Cornett, Sr. will be conducted on Tuesday August 15, 2023 at 1:00 P.M. at the Right Fork Church of Christ with Roy Patrick officiating.  The Interment will follow in the Adams-Lewis Cemetery located at Viper, Kentucky.  The Visitation will be at the Right Fork Church of Christ on Monday evening after 6:00 P.M.  Military Rites will be performed by the Hazard-Perry County D.A.V. Chapter #64.
