Shannon Smith born November 8, 1969 departed this life on Friday December 8, 2023 at the Greg & Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard being 54-years old. Shannon was born in Bluffton, Indiana and was preceded in death by her Husband, Michael Riley Smith.

Shannon Smith leaves the following relatives to cherish her memory: Parents, Elisha Shepherd, Jr. & Carolyn of Happy; Sons, Glenn Thomas Smith of Acup, Michael Avery Smith of Acup; Daughter, Shelby Smith of Acup; Brother, Elisha Shepherd & Susie of Hazard; Sisters, Michelle Combs & Danny of Happy, Aleece Fugate & darrell of Typo; Brother-In-Laws, Corbett Smith, Anthony Smith, Robert McKenzie, Johnny McKenzie; Sister-In-Laws, Juanita McKenzie, Lisa Gullett, Susie Shepherd. A host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends survive.
