Sharon Cox born January 11, 1970 departed this life on Monday July 3, 2023 at the Greg & Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard, Kentucky being 53-years old.  Sharon was born in Hazard, Kentucky the daughter of Imagean Thorpe and the late Walter Thorpe.  Other than her father, Sharon was also preceded in death by Grandmother, Lydia McIntosh; Grandparents, Emory & Rosie Barrett; Infant Daughter, Tina Louise; Brother, Michael Ray Thorpe.  Sharon loved going to church and singing.

Sharon Cox leaves the following relatives to cherish her memory: Husband, Bobby Cox; Mother, Imagean Thorpe; Son, Michael Travis Collins; Daughter, Christie Lynn Herald; Brother, Jimmy Thorpe; Three Sisters, Mary McIntosh & Ben, Sherry Morris & Kenny, and Tammy Smith; Seven Grandchildren, Ethan, Mika, Ronald Lee, Hunter, Sophia, Trevor, and Malia; Special Friends, Ken & Sue Miller; also a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends survive.

Funeral Services for Sharon Cox will be conducted on Saturday July 8, 2023 at 1:00 P.M. at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home with Ken Miller and Krouc Noble officiating.  The Interment will follow in the Johnson Cemetery located at Chavies, Kentucky.  The Visitation will be at the Engle-Bowling Funeral Home on Friday evening from 6:00 – 9:00 P.M.
